Herbin, the commercial establishment founded by Jacques Herbin in 1670, relocated to expand the production and influence of their sealing wax and inks.

Kyanite is a bright deep turquoise. The clouds of silver shimmer flow through the turquoise ink just like the Kyanite mineral found in the Kali Gandaki region of Nepal. Kyanite is recognized as a noble mineral due to its similarity to the rich tones of sapphire.
